Health Access Nurturing Development Services is a voluntary program for all 1st time parents residing in Kentucky. Services can begin during pregnancy or anytime before a child is 3 months old.
H.A.N.D.S. is an educational service that promotes healthy pregnancies, births, healthy child growth and development, healthy and safe homes, and self-sufficient families.
The H.A.N.D.S. program is free to all 1st time moms and/or dads, regardless of their age or income. The staff of H.A.N.D.S. believe that a child’s parents are the most important people in that child’s life. A parent is the first and most important teacher a child will ever have.
