Early breast and cervical cancer detection are important for increased survival rates and health outcomes.
Breast and cervical cancer screenings are available for income-eligible women without insurance coverage. Services include Pap smears, pelvic exams, colposcopies, breast exams, and assessments to determine the need for a mammogram. Patients also receive education on risk reduction, such as smoking cessation and maintaining a healthy diet.
Screening Eligibility Requirements
· Women ages 21 and older
· Household income at or less than 250 percent of the federal poverty level
· No health insurance including Medicaid and Medicare Part B
What to Bring to Your Appointment:
· Proof of income
· Medical or Insurance card
· List of all medications
· Medical record of last exam (if completed by another provider)
