Tobacco Cessation Resources

Quit Now Kentucky provides free, confidential, one-on-one coaching to support Kentuckians in quitting tobacco use, whether it’s cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, dip, or chew. Coaches help individuals create personalized quitting plans, manage nicotine cravings, and navigate setbacks. Eligible participants may even receive free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) such as patches, gum, or lozenges. Residents living in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster Counties are eligible for up to 8 weeks of free NRT.

With 24/7 availability, coaching is offered through phone or online chat in various languages, including English and Spanish. The program also caters to those with hearing impairments and welcomes individuals of all ages. Additional resources are accessible for uninsured callers, pregnant individuals, those under 25, or on Medicare, as well as residents of public housing or those dealing with behavioral health conditions like depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder.

My Life, My Quit™ is a specially designed program to help young people quit vaping and other tobacco/nicotine products. The program provides five free and confidential coaching sessions by phone, live texting, or chat with a specially trained youth coach. Coaches emphasize that the decision to stop is personal, and provide information to help cope with stress, navigate social situations, and support developing a nicotine-free identity.

This program is 100% free, confidential, and made for teens ages 12 through 17.
